Tom Wooster signed a one-year contract with West Ham United in September 2025, with the option of a further year.

The Sheffield-born goalkeeper spent most of his youth career with Barnsley, where he earned his first Young Lions call-up at U15s level, representing England alongside fellow Hammer Luis Brown. After winning Barnsley’s Academy Player of the Season award, he joined Manchester United in July 2020.

Wooster made his U18s debut at 16 in a 4-2 victory over Everton, before stepping up to the U21s at 18. He also featured in the UEFA Youth League with the Red Devils’ U19s.

Across four-and-a-half years in Manchester, he was part of the 2022 FA Youth Cup-winning squad and gained senior experience with loan spells at Ramsbottom United, Macclesfield, and Farsley.

Following a successful trial period at Rush Green in August and September 2025, Wooster signed for the Hammers’ development squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
