A quick and tenacious right-back who can affect the game at both ends of the pitch, Jethro Medine joined West Ham United in 2016, aged nine.
A regular for the U16s in 2022/23, Medine signed scholarship terms in summer 2023.
He made 23 appearances for the U18s in 2023/24, 21 in U18 Premier League South and two in the FA Youth Cup. Medine registered four assists, all in victories, and scored his first goal at U18 level with the opener in a 5-4 home win over Crystal Palace on 6 January 2024.
The full-back made his England U17 international debut as a substitute in a 3-2 Pinatar Arena Supercup defeat by Portugal in southern Spain on 6 September 2023, then started for the first time in a penalty shootout defeat by Morocco at the same venue three days later.
Medine signed professional terms with West Ham United in January 2025. That same season, he started every game for the U18s as they went on to win the Premier League Cup.
