Centre-back Rayan Oyebade joined West Ham United's Academy of Football as an U15 in 2021.

The left-sided defender commenced his scholarship in summer 2023. He made 13 appearances in the U18s Premier League South as a first-year scholar in 2023/24, registering a goal and an assist.

In his second season as a scholar, Oyebade captained the U18s on multiple occasions in U18 Premier League South and led his team to glory in the Premier League Cup final win at Reading.

Oyebade's performances were rewarded with his first professional contract, signed on 3 April 2025.

During the 2025/26 season, Oyebade was one of the leading appearance makers for the U21s. He played every minute in all but two of our young Hammers’ ten games in senior cup competitions, reaching the final in the National League Cup and the round of 16 in the EFL Trophy.

He was rewarded for his consistency with a call-up to the Greece U19s, for whom he qualifies through his mother’s side.
