Signed in 2021, Rayan Oyebade is a strong, elegant left-sided centre-half, who first featured in Claret and Blue as an U15 player. Known for his ability on the ball and reading of the game, he made his junior international debut for England at U15s.

During the 2023/24 season, he made 13 appearances in the U18s Premier League South registering a goal and an assist in a season largely hindered by injury.

In his second year as a scholar, Oyebade captained Lauris Coggin's U18s on multiple occasions in Premier League South as well as in the Premier League Cup final win at Reading.

Oyebade's performances were rewarded with his first professional contract, signed on 3 April 2025.

During the 2025/26 season, Oyebade was one of the leading appearance makers for the U21s and was rewarded for his consistency with a call-up to Greece’s U19s squad, for whom he qualifies through his mother’s side.

The young centre-back played every minute in all but two of our young Hammers’ ten games in senior cup competitions, reaching the final in the National League Cup and the round of 16 in the EFL Trophy.
