England U20 international goalkeeper Finlay Herrick joined West Ham United's Academy of Football at the age of six.

Born in Hertfordshire, Herrick worked his way up through the age-groups to become part of the squad which won the FA Youth Cup and U18 Premier League South double in 2022/23.

A consistent performer for the Hammers at U18 and U21 levels, Herrick made his senior debut on loan at Boreham Wood in September 2025, before returning to West Ham and saving a shootout penalty in an FA Cup sixth-round tie with Leeds United at London Stadium in April 2026.

Fin has also represented England at U16s level, before being called up for the UEFA European U17 Championships in May 2023. He had previously made his England U17 debut nine months earlier, keeping a clean sheet in the Young Lions’ win over Faroe Islands.
