West Ham United signed Norwegian winger Edvin Austbø from Viking FK in August 2026.

Born in Stavanger, Austbø joined his hometown club at the age of five. He scored on his senior debut in the Norwegian Cup in May 2022, three weeks after his 17th birthday, debuted in the top-flight Eliteserien that July, then scored on his European debut the following month.

Austbø enjoyed an outstanding 2025 season, scoring six goals and assisting seven as Viking won the Eliteserien title and being named Eliteserien Young Player of the Year.

His final appearance for his boyhood club saw him score to help Viking defeat Dinamo Zagreb and secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League League phase.
