West Ham United were edged out by Liverpool in a closely-contested Premier League clash at London Stadium on Wednesday night.
Paquetá's superb 12th minute goal - his third in consecutive games - gave the Hammers an early lead, but Cody Gakpo hit back swiftly for the Reds.
Jarrod Bowen had a goal disallowed for offside after a VAR check as the Hammers sought a second, although it was Joël Matip's second half header which ultimately settled the evening.
