Prolific goalscorer Toni Martinez agreed to move to West Ham United from Spanish club Valencia in April 2016, joined three months later, and has hardly stopped scoring goals ever since.

Born in the village of Barrio del Progreso, near Murcia, in south eastern Spain, Martinez joined Valencia at the age of 16 in 2013, featuring 16 times for the club's B team in 2015/16.

Martinez was loaned to Oxford United in spring 2017, scoring against Newcastle United and Middlesbrough in the League One club's run to the FA Cup fifth round.
