Central midfielder Moses Makasi is an Academy of Football product who graduated in the summer of 2014 and established himself as a regular in the Development Squad and U23s.

A leader on the pitch, Makasi has made more than 70 Premier League 2 appearances, lifted the U21 Premier League Cup in 2016 and won promotion to Division 1 via a Play-Off victory at Newcastle United in May 2017.

Makasi has captained the U23s on numerous occasions and been named on the first-team bench a number of times, most recently for both Emirates FA Cup third-round meetings with Shrewsbury Town in January 2018.


Returned from injury to captain the U23s in six of his seven Premier League 2 Division 1 appearances between October 2018 and January 2019...Assisted two goals in a 3-1 Premier League 2 Division 1 win at Blackburn Rovers on 26 November 2018...Scored his first Premier League 2 Division 1 goal of the season in a 4-2 home defeat by Brighton and Hove Albion on 15 December 2018...Started the 4-0 Checkatrade Trophy group-stage defeat at Yeovil Town on 6 November 2018...Joined EFL League Two club Stevenage on 11 January 2019...Made his Stevenage debut in a 2-1 home win over Crawley Town on 12 January 2018.
