
A West Ham United player since the age of six, Freddie Potts became the third member of his famous footballing family to pull on a Claret and Blue shirt when he debuted in a UEFA Europa League group-stage tie against Dinamo Zagreb at London Stadium in December 2021.
The son of long-serving defender Steve and younger brother of former left-back Dan, the youngest of the Potts' is a tall, strong, all-round central midfielder who signed his first professional contract with the Club in the summer of 2021.
After being part of the Hammers squad which won the UEFA Europa Conference League in June 2023, Potts has spent two successful seasons out on loan, first winning Player of the Year honours at EFL League One club Wycombe Wanderers in 2023/24, then at EFL Championship side Portsmouth in 2024/25.
