England U23 international Sarah Brasero signed for West Ham United women's team on 14 July 2025, penning a three-year contract in east London.

Norwich-born Brasero arrived at the Hammers having made 23 appearances in Portugal’s top tier in 2024/25 for G.D. Estoril Praia, whom she joined in the summer of 2024, which followed a campaign with Lewes in the Barclays Women’s Super League 2.

The midfielder came through Ipswich Town’s Professional Game Academy set-up and made her debut for the Tractor Girls at 16 years old. She went on to make 43 appearances for the Suffolk club, helping them push for promotion from the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division.

While with Ipswich, Brasero earned her first call-up to England's U19 squad before being called up to England U23s in 2024.
