Bermuda-born goalkeeper Nathan Trott joined West Ham United following a successful trial period in January 2016, having initially been recommended to the Club by former Hammer and fellow countryman Clyde Best.

A schoolboy midfielder, Trott is not only an agile shot-stopper, but also possesses superb distribution skills and technique and his teammates say he could have made it as a professional outfield player.

The young goalkeeper switched international allegiance to England and won the UEFA European U19 Championship in 2017, before establishing himself in the Hammers' development squad, making his first-team debut in an FA Cup third-round win over Doncaster Rovers in January 2021 and going on loan to AFC Wimbledon, French side AS Nancy and Danish First Division side Vejle.
