Women's team's WSL clash with Chelsea to be shown live on Sky Sports

West Ham United women's team's Barclays Women’s Super League match against Chelsea will now take place on Saturday 14 October after being selected for broadcast by Sky Sports. 

Rehanne Skinner’s side will head to Kingsmeadow for the first London derby of the 2023/24 campaign, with kick-off set for 5:30pm.

Chelsea seek to record a fifth consecutive WSL title this term, having secured top spot by winning 19 of their 22 matches in 2022/23.

West Ham and Chelsea met three times last season and have played 14 competitive matches against each other since the Hammers turned professional in 2018. 

The clash in west London will be West Ham's third WSL fixture of the new season, with the Irons taking on Manchester City at Chigwell Construction Stadium on Sunday 1 October in their opening fixture of the new campaign!
