Goal & Save

Viviane Asseyi and Mackenzie Arnold win Women's Goal and Save of the Season respectively

Viviane Asseyi and Mackenzie Arnold have won the 2023/24 Goal of the Season and Save of the Season awards respectively.

Asseyi's strike in the Adobe Women's FA Cup clash with Chelsea in early January was voted for by supporters as their Goal of the Season, whilst Arnold's superb save to deny Manchester United's Rachel Williams in the Barclays Women's Super League back in March claimed top spot in the Save of the Season category.

France forward Asseyi has notched seven goals across all competitions during the current campaign, while Arnold scooped the Hammer of the Year award in the end of season voting for her impressive performances throughout the campaign.

Riko Ueki was announced as Women's Young Hammer of the Year as West Ham fans voted in their thousands to crown the respective winners in each category.

Everyone at West Ham United would like to congratulate Mackenzie on being crowned the Women’s Hammer of the Year for 2023/24.
