Foundation Gala Dinner

Paragon announced as Headline Sponsor for the West Ham United Foundation Gala Dinner & Awards 2025

The West Ham United Foundation is delighted to announce Paragon’s return as the headline sponsor for this year’s Gala Dinner & Awards, taking place on Wednesday 10 December 2025 at the prestigious Mansion House

Building on the success of last year’s sold-out inaugural event, this year’s Gala will be hosted at the invitation of the newly-appointed Lady Mayor of London, Alderwoman Dame Susan Langley DBE, and it promises to be a truly unique experience, offering guests the rare opportunity to dine within one of London’s most historic venues.

Having partnered with the Foundation for more than four years, Paragon have played an instrumental role in supporting a wide range of the Foundation’s community initiatives across east London and Essex. Paragon’s continued support has allowed the Foundation to achieve some remarkable milestones: from transforming the annual Golf Day into a flagship fundraiser that now raises over £60,000 each year, to co-delivering projects that empower and uplift local communities.

A powerful example of the positive impact of this partnership was on show during the Foundation’s Awareness Fixture last year, held in support of World Mental Health Day. In a true demonstration of collaboration and shared purpose, Paragon and West Ham United came together to champion the ‘Wall of Iron’ - a creative matchday installation designed to spark conversation, connection and awareness around mental health.

Fans were invited to make their mark by sharing heartfelt messages, personal stories and ideas for positive change, turning the wall into a vibrant expression of unity and hope. What began as a simple initiative evolved into a living symbol of community spirit, showing how innovative, fan-led creativity can break down barriers, inspire conversation and bring people together for a cause that extends far beyond football.

The campaign achieved outstanding engagement and was shared by the Premier League’s official channels to more than 75 million followers globally, reflecting the reach and collective success of this ongoing partnership.

Paragon’s continued efforts were recognised at last year’s inaugural Gala Dinner when former West Ham defender, and Foundation Ambassador, Anton Ferdinand presented them with the Outstanding Partner Award for their invaluable support of the Foundation’s initiatives.

Speaking about the partnership, Paragon UK Chief Operations Officer, David Phillips, said: “We’re incredibly proud to once again partner with West Ham United Foundation as headline sponsor for this year’s Gala Dinner and Awards.

“Our partnership reflects Paragon’s deep commitment to creating lasting, positive change in communities. This year feels even more special, with the event taking place at the historic Mansion House under the invitation of the new Lady Mayor of London.

“Seeing the difference we can make together, from employability pathways to creative campaigns and community events, is a fantastic reminder of the influence that authentic partnerships can have.

“At Paragon, we believe in making a positive difference wherever we can. Through our collaboration with the Foundation, that belief comes to life - not just within communities, but within our own organisation too, inspiring our people and strengthening the networks around us.

“We’re excited to bring that energy and shared vision to the forefront once again next month.”

This year’s Dinner & Awards come at a significant time for the Foundation, following the official opening of The Foundry, a new multi-purpose community hub in Beckton designed to more than double the Foundation’s social impact. Funds raised at this year's Gala will directly support programmes delivered through The Foundry, providing essential support and opportunities for those who need them most.

“We’ve had a monumental few weeks leading into the Gala Dinner and Awards, following the recent opening of The Foundry, our new community hub in Beckton, and the launch of our weekly shelter for those experiencing homelessness,” explained West Ham United Foundation CEO, Joseph Lyons.

“Funds raised on the night will help us mobilise a range of programmes and initiatives out of The Foundry, providing vital support, opportunities and pathways for the people who need them most.

“Thanks to the invitation from the Lady Mayor, we’ve been able to secure an opportunity that’s once-in-a-lifetime. Having Paragon as our headline sponsor this year means even more to us. Their continued support and belief in our mission have been instrumental in helping us grow our reach and deliver meaningful change.

“With Paragon at the helm and the support of our other soon-to-be-announced event sponsors, I know that this is going to be an exceptional experience for everybody involved.”

Guests can expect an evening of fine dining, live entertainment and inspiring stories that showcase the Foundation’s ongoing impact. Among last year’s attendees were men’s first-team captain Jarrod Bowen, women’s team players Shelina Zadorsky and Amber Tysiak, and West Ham legends Mark Noble, Sir Trevor Brooking and Ray Winstone, each celebrating the power of community through football.
