West Ham United women's team midfielder Mel Filis has joined Charlton Athletic on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
The 21-year-old makes the move to the Barclays Women's Championship side as they continue with their quest to gain promotion to the top division, with Karen Hills' side currently tied at the top of the table with Birmingham City on 23 points.
Filis joined the Hammers in July 2021 and made her 50th appearance for the Club in the team's final match of 2023. This term, the midfielder has played 11 matches in all competitions.
