Mateus Fernandes will wear the No18 shirt for West Ham United.
The Portuguese midfielder joined the Hammers from Southampton on a five-year contract on Friday morning and is eligible to make his debut in Sunday’s Premier League fixture at Nottingham Forest.

If he does appear at the City Ground, Fernandes will do so in an Away kit bearing his new squad number.
Fernandes becomes the 17th player to wear the No18 shirt for West Ham in the Premier League era, following the likes of Alvin Martin, Frank Lampard Junior, Jonathan Spector, João Mário and Pablo Fornals.
