West Ham United women's team 2024/25 Save of the Season

Kinga Szemik wins 2024/25 women's team Save of the Season

Goalkeeper Kinga Szemik has won West Ham United women's team 2024/25 Save of the Season for her superb reflex stop away at Arsenal in March.

Denying Gunners centre-back Leah Williamson, the Poland international, who has played in every Barclays Women's Super League fixture for the Hammers this term, pulled off a double-handed stop from close range to parry the ball away from goal.

The 27-year-old, coming to the end of her first season at the Club after joining from French Division 1 Féminine side Stade de Reims in the summer, made nine saves that evening at Meadow Park.

Everyone at West Ham United would like to congratulate Kinga on winning the women’s team Save of the Season award!
