As such, Collins has plenty of stories to share from his time in east London and delves deep into his memory banks as part of #AskGinge with co-host Chris Scull.

The former centre-back discusses the origins of the ‘Ginger Pele’ nickname and goes in-depth on sharing a dressing room with Dimitri Payet, as well as playing alongside fellow Welshmen Danny Gabbidon and Craig Bellamy at West Ham.

Collins is also asked about his biggest pressure moments with the Club, the circumstances surrounding his move to Aston Villa in 2009 and how his return to the Hammers in 2012 came about under Sam Allardyce; including Mark Noble’s role in securing his transfer back to east London.
