West Ham United Women secured their first ever victory over Aston Villa on Sunday evening as they continued to their charge on the top four in the Barclays FA Women's Super League.
Abbey-Leigh Stringer scored her first goal in Claret & Blue in the first half, but the home side struck back through former Hammer, Alisha Lehmann just before the break.
However, Kateřina Svitková would fire in the eventual winner on 52 minutes - with the Hammers holding out to seal the win at the Banks's Stadium.
