West Ham United have been drawn to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup second round.
The Irons will take on our fellow Premier League club at Molineux as our EFL Cup campaign gets underway.
The tie will be played in the week commencing 25 August, and full fixture details and ticketing information will follow in due course.
West Ham have never before faced Wolves in the League Cup, with our three previous domestic cup meetings all coming in the FA Cup.
Vítor Pereira's side have won the competition twice in their history, beating Manchester City and Nottingham Forest in Wembley finals in 1974 and 1980 respectively.
Last term they were knocked out in the third round by Brighton & Hove Albion, having defeated Burnley in round two.
West Ham's journey was also ended at the third round stage - by Liverpool in our case - and we will be searching for our first EFL Cup triumph, having twice been beaten finalists.
