West Ham United secured their spot in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup thanks to a 1-0 win over Lincoln City.
Tomáš Souček scored the only goal in a highly competitive contest at LNER Stadium, turning in Saïd Benrahma's corner on 70 minutes for his second goal of the season.
Both teams had big chances earlier in the match with Alex Mitchell coming close to putting Lincoln ahead in the first half, only for his close-range effort to be ruled out for offside, while Mohammed Kudus tested Lukas Jensen with two free-kicks.
