Goals: Everton 1-3 West Ham United

Tomáš Souček and Edson Álvarez struck in second half stoppage time to give West Ham United a dramatic 3-1 win at Everton.

After Alphonse Areola saved Beto's penalty on the stroke of half-time, the game sprung to life in the second period when the same Toffees player headed home from close range.

West Ham hit back quickly through Kurt Zouma, and with both sides committing players forward in search of victory, the Hammers came out on top in thrilling style.

First Souček drilled a stunning rising drive into the top left hand corner of Jordan Pickford's net, before Edson Álvarez scored a third on the break to seal victory.
