Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, presented by Heineken...
West Ham United produced an outstanding second period to see off Manchester City at the Boleyn Ground on this day in 2000.
The Hammers were comfortable 4-1 victors by the game's end, but found themselves behind at the break before sweeping City aside in the second half.
Spencer Prior's 32nd minute goal gave the visitors the lead, and West Ham were still behind when the game reached the 53rd minute.
But Steve Lomas, who joined the Hammers three years earlier from City, levelled, and then another player with Citizens connections, Trevor Sinclair, edged the hosts in front five minutes later.
Ian Pearce's 67th minute strike began to take the game away from City, while Paolo Di Canio's final minute penalty set the seal on the victory.
