Team News: Olli Harder makes five changes for Conti Cup opener
Olii Harder has elected to make five changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Birmingham City, as West Ham United Women look to get off to the best possible start in the Continental League Cup this evening.
From the team that started on Sunday afternoon, Gilly Flaherty, Hawa Cissoko, Katerina Svitkova, Zaneta Wyne, Tameka Yallop and Yui Hasegawa all keep their place for the trip to Kent.
Anna Leat makes her first competative start for the Hammers, with Mackenzie Arnold on the bench this evening.
Abbey-Leigh Stringer, Lucy Parker, Mel Filis and Lois Joel also come into the Starting XI for the game against the FA Championship outfit, with Harder elected to go with a strong side in the opening match of Group E.
On the bench, Harder has a plethora of experience at his disposal should he with to use them, alongside 18-year-old midfielder Brooke Cairns, who recently made her first professional appearance when she came on in the 4-0 win over Leicester City.
Three players miss out on a place in the matchday squad due to injury, with Maisy Barker, Grace Fisk and Grace Garrad all currently sidelined.
