Team News: van Egmond returns to the starting XI
West Ham United women have made one change to the side that lost 1-0 to Manchester City last weekend – as they prepare to take on the Citizens in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup this afternoon.
Emily van Egmond returns to the starting XI and slots into the midfield – with academy graduate, Maisy Barker dropping to the bench.
Anouk Denton keeps her place Olli Harder’s side, as the 18-year-old makes her third start of the season in all competitions.
The Hammers are without a host of players due to injury – Katerina Svitkova underwent surgery on her ankle this week, with the Czech Republic international absent from the squad since being withdrawn against Aston Villa last month.
Also missing are Martha Thomas, Cecilie Redisch, Adriana Leon and Lois Joel.
Joel and Leon are both still recovering from foot injuries that they sustained in February and are making good progress.
Thomas is struggling with an overload problem in her foot and therefore will not be involved this afternoon.
Redisch also misses out, as she did last time out against City. The Norwegian defender has a small knock, which means that she will play no part in proceedings at the Academy Stadium.
Leanne Kiernan is amongst the substitutes, as the Irish forward continue to work her way back from a long injury layoff. She came off the bench for the final 20 minutes against City last weekend – a positive step in her recovery.
West Ham United: Arnold, Cissoko, Flaherty, Fisk, Vetterlein, Pacheco, van Egmond, Denton, Longhurst, Brynjarsdottir, Dali.
Subs: Brosnan, Mustafa, Kiernan, Barker.
The FA Cup match against Manchester City is available to watch live on CITY+.
