Season Ticket Renewals 2021/22 - FAQs

Season Ticket Renewals 2021/22 - FAQs

What options are available for 2021/22 Season Ticket renewals?

Following the Government's roadmap out of lockdown, we are pleased to be preparing for the magnificent prospect of 60,000 fans filling London Stadium again from the beginning of the 2021/22 season.

Each Season Ticket Holder will have different circumstances and factors to consider, and the Club is committed to ensuring that their personal situations and requirements are treated with the utmost care and attention.

  • The Club have frozen Season Ticket prices for both the men’s and women’s 2021/22 campaigns – the second consecutive year for the men’s team across all bands, reaffirming the Club’s proud position as the home of affordable family football in London
  • Club London seasonal prices will be frozen for 2021/22
  • The option to transfer a Season Ticket to another supporter will remain in place for the 2021/22 for Season Ticket Holders who want to retain their seat but are not ready to return just yet
  • The Club has introduced an option for those Season Ticket Holders who are 70 or over or are categorised under Government guidelines as ’clinically extremely vulnerable‘ to defer their Season Ticket for one year at no cost should they not wish to return immediately
  • Any supporter who did not renew their Season Ticket for the 2020/21 season has had the opportunity to return as a Season Ticket Holder for the 2021/22 season

How do I renew my Season Ticket?

You can renew your Season Ticket online at eticketing.co.uk by signing into your West Ham account or by calling the Ticket Office on 0333 030 1966. Ticket Office phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. Season Ticket prices have been frozen for the 2021/22 campaign, reaffirming the Club’s position as the home of affordable  family football in London, while those who renew will also enjoy huge savings against match-by-match ticket purchases and there are many options for supporters to use their Club Cash credit.

Those supporters who opted to take their 2020/21 refunds in Club Cash have benefited from an additional 10% Club Cash bonus, which can be offset against the cost of their Season Ticket.

When renewing your Season Ticket online, you'll be asked to log in to your West Ham Account. If you don't have one yet, simply follow the instructions when you log in to create your account and enter your details. See My West Ham Account for more.

For any supporters who may need a bit more time to feel comfortable returning to London Stadium, the Club has extended the option to transfer a Season Ticket to another supporter for next season.

Season Ticket Holders aged 70 or over and those who are categorised by the Government as ‘clinically extremely vulnerable’ also have the option to defer their Season Ticket for one season at no cost should they not wish to return immediately, and they will retain their seat for the 2022/23 season.

I took the Band 5 two-year Season Ticket option; do I need to do anything?

Supporters who paid for their two-year Band 5 Season Ticket in full will not need to take any action, as their Season Ticket status continues onto the 2021/22 season.

Supporters who opted to pay 30% of their Season Ticket cost for the 2020/21 season will need to pay the remaining balance of the cost of their Band 5 Season Ticket. Payment will need to be made during the Season Ticket renewal window.

Club Cash balances for Band 5 two-year Season Ticket holders will remain valid until July 2022.

Can I renew my Season Ticket in person?

During these times we must encourage all supporters to renew online or via telephone wherever possible, in order to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 and to ensure the safety of our supporters and staff. Supporters can renew online by logging into their e-ticketing account [Insert link] or by calling the Ticketing team on 0333 030 1966, option 1. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

If you’re unable to renew online or by phone, then the Club is able to accept renewals in person at London Stadium, though we do kindly ask supporters to ensure they socially distance and wear face masks at all times when visiting the Ticket Office in person. For the safety of our staff we would prefer payments to be made using credit or debit card during these times.

The Ticket Office windows will be open from Monday 12 April and are located alongside the Stadium Store [insert map here]. Opening times are 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Can I redeem Club Cash on behalf of another supporter?

Yes, to redeem Club Cash across multiple accounts, please call the Ticket Office on 0333 030 1966. The caller must be able to confirm the client reference number and full contact details of the accounts they are renewing for. Club Cash can only be used against the Season Ticket it is attached to. Club Cash is non-transferable. Club Cash can also be used online by logging into the relevant West Ham Account.

I have an accessible Season Ticket; do I need to renew my PA ticket as well?

Once you have renewed your accessible season ticket, the Club will process your accompanying PA ticket for you. Please be assured you will have to take no further action.

Will the Club be offering the 30% Season Ticket payment option for the 2021/22 season?

The 30% Season Ticket option in 2020/21 allowed supporters to reserve their seat and attend fixtures should capacity reach at least 70%. At this stage, capacity is expected to start above 70% from the first fixture of next season, and so the Club is delighted to be able to offer Season Ticket Holders three options for the 2021/22 season, as we look to support our loyal supporters in any way that we can. Click here for Season Ticket options for the 2021/22 season.

While Government guidance has stipulated that it is the aim that all restrictions on social contact will cease from 21 June, should this change and we see a return to either reduced capacity or matches played behind closed doors next season, the Club will remain flexible on the plans outlined and could revisit the previous options and protocols which have been in effect for the 2020/21 season.

How can I defer my ticket for the season?

The Club appreciates that every Season Ticket holder will have different circumstances and factors to consider, and we are committed to ensuring that their personal situations and requirements are treated with the utmost care and attention.

We have therefore introduced an option for those Season Ticket Holders who are 70 or over or are categorised under Government guidelines as ’clinically extremely vulnerable‘ to defer their Season Ticket for one year at no cost should they not wish to return immediately.

All Season Ticket Holders will have received an email from the Club ahead of the renewal window opening, providing them with full information on their options. To request to defer your Season Ticket for the 2021/22 season, please complete the Season Ticket deferral form.

Please note that the Season Ticket deferral service is available for the 2021/22 season only. The Club will proactively contact you again ahead of the 2022/23 renewal period to ensure you’re given the opportunity to renew your Season Ticket.

If I defer my ticket but then decide I want to come to games, can I?

If you take the option to defer your Season Ticket for the 2021/22 season, the next opportunity you will have to return as a Season Ticket holder will be in January 2022, for the second half of the season. The Club will contact you personally in advance of this time to see if your circumstances have changed and, where possible, to see whether you wish to purchase a half-Season Ticket. All tickets are subject to availability.

How can I transfer my ticket for the season?

The Club appreciates that every Season Ticket Holder will have different circumstances and factors to consider and we are committed to ensure that their personal situations and requirements are treated with the utmost care and attention.

The option to transfer a Season Ticket to another supporter will remain in place for the 2021/22 season for Season Ticket Holders who want to retain their seat but are not ready to return just yet.

All Season Ticket Holders will have received an email from the Club ahead of the renewal window opening, providing them with full information on their options. To request to transfer your Season Ticket for the 2021/22 season, please complete the Season Ticket transfer form

Please note that the Season Ticket transfer service is available for the 2021/22 season only. The Club will proactively contact you again ahead of the 2022/23 renewal period to ensure the Season Ticket is transferred back into your name.

If I transfer my ticket but then decide that I want to come to games, can I?

If supporters choose to transfer their ticket for one season, any Season Ticket benefits will also be transferred to the new holder for the 2021/22 season. Since the Club will have taken full payment from the supporter the ticket has been transferred to, we are unfortunately unable to transfer the ticket back, should supporters change their mind. However, supporters who do want to come back to games will still be able to purchase tickets on a match-by-match basis, subject to availability throughout the season. The Ticket Office will contact you at the end of the 2021/22 season to reclaim your seat.

What happens if the Government’s current plan changes?

While current Government guidance has stipulated that all restrictions on social contact will cease from Monday 21 June, should this change and we see a return to either reduced capacity or matches played behind closed doors next season, the Club will remain flexible on the plans outlined and could revisit the previous options and protocols which have been in effect for the 2020/21 season. Only Season Ticket Holders will be able to enter ticketing ballots should guidance state we need to adhere reduced capacity crowds within London Stadium.

What about people who have been financially impacted by the pandemic?

We pride ourselves on having the most affordable Season Tickets in London in the Premier League and have very competitive V12 finance options allowing supporters to split the cost of their Season Tickets over the season. Should these options not be suitable, supporters will be able to transfer their ticket to a friend or family member for the season.

Will I need to prove that I have had the COVID vaccination before I can attend fixtures?

The Club will continue to follow Government and Sports Ground Safety Authority guidelines as well as working alongside the Premier League, our supporters and London Stadium partners to ensure we provide the safest environment for all supporters when they are able to return.

Further information will be communicated personally and regularly to our Season Ticket Holders with updates also provided across Club communication channels.

Will the Ticket Exchange service be available for 2021/22?

For any games played at full capacity, the Ticket Exchange and Ticket Forward platforms will be available to Season Ticket Holders.

I renewed using the 30% option, what options are available to me?

In preparation for the Season Ticket renewals period, the Club converted the 30% payment for the 2020/21 season into Club Cash. We are doing this to make it easier for you to use this payment against your 2021/22 Season Ticket. The 30% payment was deposited into your Club Cash account on Wednesday March 31.

Should you require a bit more time to feel comfortable returning to London Stadium, we have extended the existing option to transfer a Season Ticket to another supporter for next season. Similarly, supporters aged over 70 or categorised by the Government as ’clinically vulnerable‘ will also be able to defer their Season Ticket for a further season and retain their seat for the 2022/23 season.

If you decide not to renew with any of the options above for 2021/22, rest assured you will, of course, be able to receive a full cash refund of your 30% payment to your original payment method. Alternatively, you can choose to spend your Club Cash refund on official merchandise or other Club products.

In line with the Club’s refund policy for the 2020/21 season, those choosing to receive a refund to their original payment method will receive this within 30 days of the final game of the season against Southampton on May 23.

Can I purchase a new Season Ticket?

Supporters wishing to become Season Ticket Holders will need to join the Season Ticket Waiting List.. Supporters on that list will automatically move to a new Priority List when it opens. The new Priority List has been created in response to supporter feedback and to enhance their experience by proving a way for supporters to check their likelihood of securing a Season Ticket on a season-by-season basis.

Once the new list has launched, supporters interested in becoming a Season Ticket Holder will be able to join the Priority List at any time and can track their progress as they move closer to the top through a new dedicated digital portal.

When will my Club Cash expire?

All Club Cash balances have been extended to July 2022, to give supporters the opportunity to use their balance.

Stadium access

How will I access the stadium?

At this time, the Club anticipates that supporters will access the stadium via digital e-ticketing using a smart phone in order to mitigate the spread of the virus and keep supporters and staff safe. We will continue to follow Government and Sports Ground Safety Authority guidelines as well as working alongside the Premier League, our supporters and London Stadium partners to ensure we provide the safest environment for all supporters when they are able to return.

Any further information will be communicated personally and regularly to our Season Ticket Holders with updates also provided across Club communication channels.

What if I don’t have access to a smartphone?

Current planning also offers supporters the option to print their tickets at home. In the ticketing email ahead of each fixture you will receive the option to download the ticket as a PDF or add it to your Apple or Google Wallet. Once the ticket has been downloaded as a PDF, it can be printed and scanned at the turnstile.

The Club will provide assistance to supporters who have any concerns regarding digital ticketing.

Do I need to provide photo ID before I renew?

The Club will not be requesting that Season Ticket Holders provide photographic ID in order to renew their Season Ticket. However, we must remain flexible to potential changes in guidance issued by the Government, Sports Ground Safety Authority, and the Premier League which may be required prior to the start of the 2021/22 season, or at a future date, should guidance instruct us to do so.

V12 Finance payments

Can I pay for my Season Ticket using V12 Finance?

Yes, you can pay for your Season Ticket renewal in instalments.

Supporters can apply to pay by monthly instalments via one of two simple payment plans delivered with the Club’s partner V12 Season Ticket Finance.

What will happen to my Priority Points?

I’ve deferred my Season Ticket, what will happen to my Priority Points?

Seat Relocations

Can I request to move my Season Ticket seat?

As always, seat relocation priority will be based on how early Season Ticket Holders renew. Supporters who renew will receive a relocation window by email, advising when they can call the Ticket Office to review their options.

Seat relocation requests

Select an option below:

How will seat relocations be handled for the 2021/22 season?

  • Relocations will be based on time of renewal, subject to availability, commencing from once renewals have closed.
  • Please note that you must have renewed your Season Ticket to apply for relocation.
  • Relocation windows will be set by the Club, giving Season Ticket Holders a period during which they can call the Ticket Office to relocate. Further information will be communicated on the Club website and by email
  • Should you choose to relocate to a higher price band, any resulting price increase brought about by relocation will need to be paid by debit or credit card (including Amex) or cash at the time of relocation.
  • Should you not be able to make your scheduled appointment you are able to call any time after.

The relocation phase will be a busy period for the Club, and we would therefore ask that you only contact us once your window has opened. Supporters calling earlier will be politely requested to call back at their designated time.

Can I change price band at the time of renewal?

Yes, if your relocation falls into a different price band, the difference in cost will either be refunded or required to be paid in full immediately. You can view the stadium map and pricing by clicking here

I am in a group of Season Ticket Holders, can we relocate together?

Due to seat availability, you will have more chance of relocating if moving in singles or pairs. Groups wishing to relocate will only be able to select in the window for the group member who renewed at the latest point, so as not to disadvantage others. Please make sure you have all client references, names and postcodes within the group to hand.

What will I need when calling the Ticket Office about my relocation?

It is important to have your postcode and Client Reference Number to hand and you should have an idea about the location within the stadium you are wishing to relocate to. If you relocate to a higher price band you will need payment details to pay the difference immediately. In the interest of fairness, seats cannot be placed on reserve.

Season Ticket Waiting List

I paid a Season Ticket deposit fee, what do I need to do?

Once the Club have completed the renewals and relocation process with existing Season Ticket Holders, all supporters who have paid a deposit for the 2021/22 Season Ticket will be contacted with details on available seats for them.

Can you guarantee the seating band I requested will be available?

The Club will make every effort to provide you with a seat in the price band you have requested but all seats and price bands are strictly subject to availability across the stadium.

We will always look to accommodate requirements as best we can and will be happy to discuss all options available. If there are no seats available in your desired price band, we can also look at alternative price bands that may also be suitable to you.

What happens to the deposit I paid to join the Season Ticket Waiting List?

The deposit paid to join the Season Ticket Waiting List will be deducted from the full cost of your Season Ticket payment at the first offer of a Season Ticket.

If supporters transfer to the new Priority List, the deposit they have already paid will be transferred and thereafter will be refunded against the full cost of the Season Ticket. Deposits are refundable only on your first offer of a Season Ticket.

Returning 2019/20 Season Ticket Holders

I paid 30% to regain my seat for the 2021/22 season, what do I need to do?

Your 30% payment has been transferred into Club Cash, allowing you to use that towards your renewal for the 2021/22 season. You will just need to log in to your West Ham Account and follow the steps to renew your Season Ticket.

Can I relocate my seat in the relocations process?

Yes, once you have renewed your Season Ticket for the 2021/22 season you will have the same ticketing rights as every other Season Ticket Holder. As normal, your relocation window will be based on the time you renew.
