Lukasz Fabianski helps Poland to Nations League win
Lukasz Fabianski helped Poland record their first win of the 2020/21 UEFA Nations League campaign as they defeated Bosnia & Herzegovina 2-1 on Monday night.
Fabianski wasn't involved as his country kicked-off the Nations League with a 1-0 defeat to the Netherlands on Friday, but returned in Zenica as Poland recovered from a goal down to claim the points.
A 24th minute penalty from Haris Hajradinović gave the home side the lead, but Kamil Glik's leveller on the stroke of half time got Poland back in the contest.
Kamil Grosicki then netted the winner midway through the second period to leave Poland third in League A Group 1, a point behind leaders Italy.
Fabianski now has 53 caps for his country, and their Nations League campaign resumes next month with games against Italy and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
