West Ham United’s opening two 2020/21 Barclays FA WSL fixtures revealed
West Ham United will open the 2020/21 Barclays FA Women’s Super League campaign with an away test against Tottenham Hotspur.
Matt Beard’s Irons will then welcome Arsenal in the team’s first-ever game at their new home ground, Dagenham & Redbridge’s Victoria Road.
The 2020/21 Barclays FA WSL campaign will begin on the weekend of 5-6th September, with the Hammers travelling to The Hive Stadium to take on Spurs in their opening match of the season.
West Ham’s first fixture at the new matchday home of the women’s team will then be contested against another north London side in Joe Montemurro’s Arsenal, who will visit the Dagenham & Redbridge Stadium on Sunday 13 September, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.
The Hammers are preparing for a third season in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League after the curtailment of the 2019/20 campaign saw the side finish eighth.
