On this Day: Hammers become last team to win at Highbury
Recalling a moment of Hammers history on this day, in association with Basset & Gold...
It was on this day 13 years ago that West Ham United became the last team to defeat Arsenal in a Premier League game at Highbury.
Alan Pardew's Hammers, who would go on to reach the FA Cup final in their first season back in the top flight, had too much for the Gunners, moving into a 2-0 lead in the first half, and keeping their noses in front thereafter.
Nigel Reo-Coker, Bobby Zamora and Matthew Etherington were all on target and you can relive the goals in our video above.
