Internationals round-up

A host of West Ham United players have been in action for their respective nations over the weekend, and some will hope to feature again early in the week.

• Jack Collison played 58 minutes in Wales' 2014 FIFA World Cup European Group A victory over Scotland in Glasgow on Friday 22 March. James Collins was an unused substitute. Collins then earned his 40th cap by starting in Wales' 2-1 home defeat by Croatia in Swansea on Tuesday 26 March - a game Collison missed with a knee injury.

• Emanuel Pogatetz played the full 90 minutes for Austria in a 6-0 2014 FIFA World Cup European Group C qualifying win over Faroe Islands in Vienna on Friday 22 March. Pogatetz started again, earning his 55th cap as Austria scored a last-gasp equaliser to draw 2-2 with Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Tuesday 26 March.

• Mohamed Diame's Senegal drew 1-1 with Angola in a 2014 FIFA World Cup African Group J qualifier in Guinee Conakry on Saturday 23 March. Diame played the full 90 minutes.

• Winston Reid captained New Zealand in their 2-1 2014 FIFA World Cup Oceania Round 3 qualifying win over New Caledonia in Dunedin on Friday 22 March. Reid's All Whites took on Solomon Islands in Honiara on Tuesday 26 March, but Reid was allowed to miss his country's 4-3 victory as New Zealand had already secured their place in the Intercontinental Play-Off with the e fourth placed team from the North, Central America and the Caribbean region.

• Dan Potts played the full game as England U19 scored a 1-0 friendly international win over Turkey U19 in Telford on Thursday 21 March.

• Sean Maguire played the full match as Republic of Ireland U19's 1-0 international friendly win over a Gibraltar Select XI in Malaga on Friday 22 March. Kieran Sadlier played the entire second half as a substitute.

• Marcio Martins is in the Portugal U17 squad for UEFA European U17 Championship Elite Round Group 6 qualifiers with England, Slovenia and Russia in Burton and Loughborough between 23-28 March. Martins scored as Portugal defeated Slovenia 3-1 in their second game on Monday, but did not feature as they were edged out 1-0 by England in their opening match on Saturday.

• Jamie Harney was in the Northern Ireland U17 squad for UEFA European U17 Championship Elite Round Group 7 qualifiers with Netherlands, Norway and Italy in Uden and Echt between 21-26 March. Harney was booked as Northern Ireland came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Netherlands in their opening match on Thursday, but did not feature as his country were edged out 2-1 by Norway on Saturday. Harney was back in the starting line-up as Northern Ireland drew 0-0 with Italy on Tuesday - a result which unfortunately saw his country finish bottom of the group and eliminated from the competition.
