2022/23 Fixtures: Every home and away game revealed

West Ham 2022/23 fixtures

West Ham United will open their 2022/23 Premier League season at home to Manchester City.

The Hammers will welcome Pep Guardiola’s defending champions to London Stadium for a Sky Sports-televised clash on Sunday 7 August, with kick-off set for 4.30pm.

We ended our home campaign last season with a 2-2 draw against the Citizens, when Jarrod Bowen scored twice and the Claret & Blue Army bade an emotional farewell to Mark Noble.

August continues with a trip to newly-promoted Nottingham Forest – back in the top-flight after 23 years in the English Football League – on Saturday 13 August, with home games against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday 20 August and Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday 30 August, and an away match at Aston Villa on Saturday 27 August, rounding out a busy opening month.

The 2022/23 campaign concludes on the road at Leicester City on Sunday 28 May 2023, while our final home game falls against Leeds United on Saturday 20 May.

Other notable dates include a Boxing Day trip to Arsenal, with the festive season also featuring a home derby against Brentford on New Year’s Eve, and an away game at Leeds on Monday 2 January.

The Premier League season will pause for six weeks in November and December for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with our first slate of fixtures ending with a home clash against Leicester on Saturday 12 November, before that 26 December game at Arsenal resumes the campaign.

Supporters should note that all Premier League fixtures are subject to change.

In addition, our home fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion and away game at Aston Villa in August are subject to movement on those weekends due to our participation in the UEFA Europa Conference League Play-Off round the previous Thursday, as is our away game at Manchester United in October due to the Red Devils' participation in the UEFA Europa League Group Stage.

Should we progress to the UEFA Europa Conference League Group Stage, the home games against Newcastle United, Fulham and Crystal Palace, and away games at Everton and Southampton, will also be subject to movement.

The UK broadcast selections for the early match rounds are due to be completed by 5 July, with October's broadcast selections to follow by 29 July; November's by 13 September; December's and January's by 11 October; February's by 6 December; March's by 25 January; April's by 21 February; Match Round 35's by 23 March; Match Round 36's by 30 March; Match Round 37's by 7 April; and the final Match Round's after each club has played 37 games.

Furthermore, the Hammers will begin our Carabao Cup challenge at the third-round stage in the week commencing Monday 7 November, while the Emirates FA Cup third round will be held over the weekend of Saturday 7 January 2023.
