The Foundation’s Female Player Pathway Model consists of four tiers, designed to complement young people's grassroots development, which provides young footballers with a specialised environment where they can develop as a player, both on and off the pitch.
The Female Player Pathway engages players of all levels and abilities. Technical Development Centre and Development Squad Centre tiers train once a week with exhibition matches during the school holidays. The performance squads train twice a week and compete in the Junior Premier League on Saturdays. The higher tiers of the Pathway aim to offer an environment which bridges the gap between grassroots and academy football.
Women's Youth Team - Our latest collaboration with the West Ham United women's team. Our u12, u14 and u16s pathway lead into the WHU U21 PGAC, Creating a pathway into academy football. Our U16s have an additional training session per week at the academy led by the academy staff from S&C and training sessions. All squads are supported by various departments from the women's team, including, S&C, physio support and academy coaching syllabus.
