Goals Beyond Goals will harness the power of football and West Ham United to improve Secondary School students' attendance in school, physical and mental health, and independent living.
The programme will be delivered in secondary schools during the academic year, and project delivery will be supported through eleven player appearances from West Ham United Men's, Women's, and Academy players. Project delivery will be a mixture of classroom based sessions and physical activity sessions.
When it is running and where
Monday-Fridays 9am-3pm during term time at Jo Richardson Community School and The Hathaway Academy.
Who is it targeting
11-16-year-old secondary school students who are persistently absent from school, have challenges with their physical and mental health/wellbeing, and students who are at risk of becoming NEET when they leave secondary school.
