Irons Supporting Foodbanks

Irons Supporting Foodbanks is a group of West Ham fans and friends collecting at home first team games from three hours before kick off.

Their donation point is on Stratford Walk, beside the Aquatics Centre, on the route from Westfield to the stadium.

They were inspired by the work of other football fan foodbanks around the country to highlight the positive support of football fans for their local communities.

Irons Supporting Foodbanks began collecting in December 2019 on behalf of foodbanks in Newham, and now deliver to over 120 foodbanks, community groups and homeless centres across east London and Essex. Alongside their food distribution, they deliver several tonnes a year of new clothing to community groups and rough sleeper support groups.

They are supported in their efforts by West Ham United, the WHU Foundation, LS185, London Legacy Development Corporation, Newham Council, the Met Police, UMBRO, and a large number of West Ham and football fans, plus matchday visitors to the Queen Elizabeth Park.
