Forging Our Future

Deciding the future of our crest, together

Our crest represents the past, present and future of West Ham United and it should be shaped by the most important people: our supporters. This will be a fully supporter-led process between now and the selection of the final design in spring 2027, followed by a launch in 2028.

The current version of the crest was launched ten years ago, to coincide with the move to London Stadium in 2016, and the Club believes that now is the right time to review the crest for the future. The consultation will take part in two stages:

The first survey will ask whether supporters want the crest to change and which elements are most important.
A vote on future crest options, which will be designed based on feedback from the first survey if supporters vote for a change.

The Fan Advisory Board will be consulted throughout each stage and will act as a crucial sounding board to the Club. There will be monthly project meetings where the Club will keep the FAB closely updated on timelines, survey results and response rates, ensuring the consultation is led by West Ham United supporters at every stage.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Forging Our Future survey opened on 20 August 2026 and will close at 11:59pm on 13 September 2026.

This survey will help us to:

Find out whether West Ham United supporters believe the crest should be changed
Understand what it means to be a West Ham United supporter and how that could help shape any potential new crest design

To ensure that the survey is completed by West Ham United supporters, the following groups of supporters are eligible to take part:

Current Bondholders
2026/27 Season Ticket Holders (men's and women's teams)
2026/27 Claret & Blue Members
Supporters who attended more than five home matches in the 2025/26 season (including season ticket holders who have not renewed for the new season)

Supporters will need to be at least 16 years old to take part. Please be assured that each person will be able to submit one response and that all responses will be counted equally. Any duplicated responses will be discounted. This survey is open until 13 September at 11:59pm.

The survey will be sent to all eligible supporters via email. If you are eligible to take part but haven't received your link via email, you can complete the survey by clicking here.

If you'd prefer not to complete the survey online, you can also fill it out on a matchday. At London Stadium you can do this by speaking to one of our Supporter Liaison Officers at the Information Points at block 110, 125, 132, 141 or 153, and at Victoria Road you can do this by speaking to one of the Supporter Liaison Officers at the Supporter Services tent. If you'd like to complete your survey on a matchday, please help our team out by arriving with plenty of time before kick-off.

Supporters who take part in the first survey will be asked if they would like to register their interest to take part in a Crest Workshop. We’ll run a ballot of everyone who registers interest and will ensure that each group of eligible supporters is represented.
