Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Activator
West Ham United FC's award winning Community Sports Trust was set up in 1990 and has recently undergone a comprehensive review with the Premier League culminating in the re-branded WHUCST and growing in line with the Club's commitment to the 'Moore than a Football Club' ethos.
As part of an exciting development WHUCST is inviting applications for highly motivated and experienced Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Activator to lead on a new project which will increase athletics legacy participation within the community on behalf of the Community Sports Trust, England Athletics and Active Newham in partnership with the London Legacy Development Corporation LLDC.
The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Activator will support the Run! Project Manager to increase athletics participation across the Olympic Park and surrounding area.
The successful candidate will have proven knowledge and experience of working on multi agency projects, increasing physical activity participation amongst the community, and knowledge of the local area.
A valid driving licence or ability to travel across the multiple areas is essential.
West Ham United Community Sports Trust and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and Vulnerable Adults. The successful applicant will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and undertake safeguarding awareness training subject to satisfactory references.
Salary: £15,000 (pro rata 21 hours per week)
Location: East London and Olympic Park
