Community Health & Fitness Trainer

West Ham United FC's award winning Community Sports Trust was set up in 1990 and has recently undergone a comprehensive review with the Premier League culminating in the re-branded WHUCST and growing in line with the Club's commitment to the 'Moore than a Football Club' ethos.

As part of an exciting development WHUCST is inviting applications for highly motivated and experienced Community Health & Fitness Trainers to work out of the 'Tony Carr Gym' based at the Boleyn Ground Stadium and our training facilities in Beckton.

Health & Fitness trainers will support the Health Officers to deliver a number of high quality health and wellbeing programmes across London's Olympic boroughs and Essex.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working in a Health & Fitness environment, is a minimum REPS Level 3 qualified instructor and have proven track record of delivering high quality provision that is inclusive to all.

Trainers will be required to use their knowledge and experience to assist in the growth of local community and actively engage individuals in sustained physical activity. The trainer will also be accountable for delivering clear project outlines and will need to demonstrate the success of key deliverables to all relevant partners, including administration around each session.

A valid driving licence is essential.

West Ham United Community Sports Trust and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and Vulnerable Adults. Salary: £12-£15 per hour for project work plus additional opportunities for PT hours.
