West Ham stars celebrate international successes on social media

West Ham United players have spent the past week pulling on the jerseys of their respective nations in a mixture of 2018 FIFA World Cup and UEFA European U21 Championship qualifiers.

The likes of Chicharito, Joe Hart, Aaron Cresswell, Jose Fonte and Declan Rice have been in action, with plenty of victories and landmarks to celebrate.

We took to social media to see what the lads have been saying about their own international breaks!

Chicharito led tributes to the victims of the recent Mexican earthquake before his country's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying win over Trinidad & Tobago...

Sticking with England, Aaron Cresswell made his competitive Three Lions debut in Sunday's qualifying win in Lithuania...

Captain Mark Noble was keen to keep his teammate's feet firmly on the ground!

When Nobes wasn't telling Cress to make him his morning cuppa, the skipper took time out from training to catch this beautiful carp at a local lake!

Back to the international football and Jose Fonte's Portugal set up a 'winner-takes-all' clash with Switzerland by beating Andorra at the weekend, and the West Ham defender was grateful to the fans who made the long journey into the Pyrenees...

Diafra Sakho celebrated his goal-scoring return to the Senegal side with his teammates after netting in an important 2-0 World Cup qualifying win in the Cape Verde Islands...

There was despair for Robert Snodgrass, whose goal in Slovenia was not enough to secure a Play-Off place for Scotland...
