Today's papers believe the skipper could return from injury for Saturday's trip to Hull City...

This morning's Daily Mail carries some team news ahead of Saturday's game at Hull City, saying Slaven Bilic is in line to receive a boost as Mark Noble is set to make his comeback.

Noble missed the home defeat to Leicester City with a leg injury, but has returned to training and will make his 399th appearance for the Club on Humberside.

Sticking with team news, and this Evening Standard piece claims Arthur Masuaku could be called into the starting line-up at left back after impressing from the bench against Leicester.

Moving on to transfer rumours, and another name to add to the mix is Besiktas' Turkish striker Cenk Tosan, according to talkSPORT at least.

Tosan is also said to be coveted by Tottenham Hotspur and scored twice for Turkey in their FIFA World Cup qualifier against Finland last week.

Tony Cottee tells the Newham Recorder that he'd welcome Jermain Defoe back to the Hammers with open arms.

“There are very few natural goalscorers around. For me the likes of Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, Clive Allen and Defoe are a dying breed, and the prospect of him playing up front with Andy Carroll is a mouthwatering one for me," he explained.

However, The Sun say AFC Bournemouth will provide competition for the England forward.
