A record-breaking day in the West Ham United Ticket Office has seen a magnificent 18% of Season Ticket Holders already renew for the 2017/18 campaign.
After the Season Ticket renewal process opened to supporters at 9am on Monday morning, thousands of Hammers fans flocked to secure their seat at London Stadium for next season, more than two months before the deadline for renewals.
The figure comfortably surpasses any previous opening day total for Season Ticket renewals in the Club’s history, and proves once again the appetite that West Ham’s loyal supporters have for following their team.
Joint-Chairman David Sullivan said: “I am truly overwhelmed by the commitment and devotion shown by our supporters who have been purchasing online and on the phone today.
“To have already had nearly a fifth of our season ticket holders renew for next season’s campaign in the first eight hours is a fantastic example of why West Ham fans are so special.
“This is exactly the kind of loyalty and togetherness that embodies our fanbase.
“We are delighted to have continued our promise of affordable Premier League football at London Stadium by freezing Season Ticket renewal prices for next season, and we are so happy to see so many supporters benefiting from it.”
