Noble - Dimi is fully committed

Mark Noble has no doubts that Dimitri Payet is fully committed to West Ham United and has nothing but admiration for the job he has done since he joined the east London Club.

Payet has become a cult hero with the Hammers fans following his move from Marseille back in June 2015 and has been one of the star performers in the Premier League.

The French international ended his debut season in England with nine league goals and was one of the standout performers for the host nation at the European Championship Finals during the summer which saw him nominated for the 2016 Ballon d'Or award.

Payet showed his quality once again against Liverpool on Sunday when he scored another trademark free-kick and Noble says he is doing everything he can to help the Club move away from the bottom three.

Noble said: "The chances he has created this season and the important goals he has scored for us, Dimi is fully committed – I can tell you that now.

"He is great with the lads. I have got a very close bond with Dimi. I just love seeing people come to the club and do so well.

"I see him train every day. I see how he feels when he loses games. And don't forget, he hasn't even had a holiday.

“This season was going to be so difficult because of what he did last season. I am not just talking about him being one of the best players in the Premier League. For the last season, he has been one of the best players in the whole world with the Euros.”

Payet has scored a number of memorable free-kicks for the Hammers, but his goal against Liverpool at Anfield could prove to be one of the most important as it helped the Hammers come away with a crucial point as they now prepare for two big home games against Burnley and Hull.

The Frenchman is still the best assist maker in Europe and Noble says the time has come for his fellow team-mates to make the most of that quality and start putting the chances away.

Noble, speaking on talkSPORT, added: “If that free-kick doesn’t go in last night, it might have been a different story.

"He scores from 30 yards again and gets us back into the game. In the Premier League now, you need that player that can be very special at times when you need him.

"The stats don't lie and he has created the most amount of chances in Europe.

"I still believe he has still been one of the best players this season in the Premier League. He has created chances for other players. It is up to other players to score those chances – he can't cross it and score it himself."
