Enner Valencia has been named whufc.com Player of the Month for September after winning a fan vote on the Official Website.
The Ecuador striker, who opened his goalscoring account for the Club in fine style during September, lashing an upstoppable shot past Hull City's Allan McGregor, polled a huge 48% of the votes cast.
That beat Diafra Sakho (25%) and Stewart Downing (20%) into second and third place respectively after fine months for the pair.
Valencia has shown signs of developing a promising partnership with Sakho up front, helping his Senegal strike partner score four goals in his first four Hammers starts.
However, it was Valencia's own contribution which caught your eye this month, with the No31 following fellow new arrival Cheikhou Kouyate as a Player of the Month winner this season.
