West Ham United 2-1 Leicester City

Alfie Lewis

West Ham United scored their first U18 Premier League South win in six matches by defeating Leicester City 2-1 at Little Heath.

The Hammers, who had not tasted victory since overcoming Aston Villa 1-0 on 18 November, collected all three points thanks to two goals in the space of six minutes from Sean Adarkwa and Alfie Lewis (pictured) either side of the hour-mark.

Foxes forward Kairo Edwards-John replied on 69 minutes, but Steve Potts' team held on to climb above Norwich City - 2-0 losers at Southampton - and off the foot of the table.
