A vastly experienced goalkeepeer, Jussi Jaaskelainen enjoyed a fantastic 15-year Premier League career with Bolton Wanderers.

Tall and athletic, Jaaskelainen initially moved to English football in 1997 for just £100,000 and became one of the biggest bargains in Premier League history by making more than 500 appearances for the Trotters.

Capable of pulling off amazing saves, the former Finland international was also capped 56 times by his country.

2014/15

Made his first appearance of the campaign as the Hammers lost out on penalties to Sheffield United in the Capital One Cup on 26 August 2014.

2013/14

Started the season well to keep clean sheets against Cardiff City, Newcastle United and Southampton in the first four Barclays Premier League games of the campaign...Made it four shutouts for the season as the Hammers famously defeated Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 at White Hart Lane on 6 October 2013...Kept his eighth clean sheet of 2013/14 in a 0-0 home draw with Sunderland on 14 December 2013, but lost his place to Adrian for the next league fixture at Manchester United a week later...Regained his spot between the posts for the 3-3 draw with West Brom and 2-1 defeat to Fulham at the turn of the year...Was back on the bench for the Barclays Premier League clash with Cardiff City on 11 January 2014.

2012/13

Joined West Ham United on a one-year contract with the option of a second year on 1 July 2012...Made his West Ham United bow as a substitute in a 3-1 pre-season defeat at FK Austria Wien on 7 July 2012...Made his competitive West Ham United debut in the 1-0 home Barclays Premier League victory over Aston Villa on 18 August 2012 - the opening day of the season...Kept three clean sheets in his first four Barclays Premier League appearances for West Ham United...Voted SBOBET Player of the Month for November 2012...Was an ever-present throughout the opening half of the Barclays Premier League season, only missing the club's two Carling Cup ties...Picked up the SBOBET Player of the Month award for a second time in 2012/13 in February...Took his clean sheet tally for the campaign to eleven with shutouts against the likes of Swansea, Liverpool and Newcastle, and was runner up to Hammer of the Year Winston Reid.

Before West Ham United

Played more than 100 games for Mikkelin Palloilijat and Vaasan Palloseura in his native Finland before joining Bolton in 1997 for a fee of just £100,000...Helped Sam Allardyce's side gain promotion to the Premier League via the Play-Offs in 2001...Helped to establish Bolton Wanderers as a top-flight force during the past decade, achieving four consecutive top-eight finishes between 2003/04 and 2006/07...Was instrumental in helping Bolton Wanderers to finish as 2004 League Cup runners-up and twice reach the knockout stages of the UEFA Cup...Made 371 Premier League appearances for Bolton Wanderers and was voted the club's Player of the Year in 2007.
