West Ham United winger Blair Turgott joined the Club at just eight-years-old and has matured under the gaze of the Academy coaches. The 19-year-old has enjoyed loan spells in the Football League during recent seasons, most prominently whilst with Bradford City during the 2012/13 season.

Whilst with the Bantams, Turgott made his professional debut in an FA Cup second round tie against Brentford on 30 November 2012. The wide man also appeared as a substitute in the Capital One Cup quarter-final win over Arsenal on 11 December 2012.

Turgott also played a part in the first leg of the semi-final as he replaced former Hammer Zavon Hines during the second half of a 3-1 win against Aston Villa. More recently the winger spent a month on loan with Colchester United where he scored his first league goal against Stevenage on Boxing Day 2013.


Moved to Colchester United on a one-month loan deal on 28 November 2013…makes his first appearance for the U's in a 4-0 defeat by Notts County on 14 December 2013…Scores his first league goal on Boxing Day 2013 in a 4-0 win over Stevenage…Makes his first team debut for West Ham United during a third round FA Cup with Budweiser defeat to Nottingham Forest...Joins high-flying Sky Bet League One club Rotherham United on loan in January 2014.

Blair Turgott has represented England at U16, U17, U18 and U19 level…He made six appearances for the U16s and scored in the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup against Canada…Made 16 appearances for England at U17 level, scoring 4 goals…Played once for England U18s…Scored his first goal for England U19s against Estonia in qualifying for the 2013 UEFA European Under-19 football championships.
