West Ham United have been handed a home tie against Sheffield United in Round Two of the Capital One Cup.

Wednesday's draw pairs the clubs for the first time since they were last together in the top flight in the 2006/07 campaign.

The Blades are now in Sky Bet League One and saw off Mansfield Town in Round One by a 2-1 scoreline earlier on Wednesday.

West Ham reached the semi-finals of last year's competition, beating Cheltenham Town, Cardiff City, Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur before eventual winners Manchester City ended their run.

The game will be played at the Boleyn Ground in the week commencing 25 August. Full fixture and ticketing details will follow in due course on whufc.com
