Harney shines in Milk Cup opener

Jamie Harney captained Northern Ireland U19s to a 2-0 victory over China in their opening match of the Dale Farm Milk Cup earlier this week.

Goals from Josh Doherty and Mikhail Kennedy gave the host nation victory in a tournament which also features Canada and Mexico.

WIth Canada also enjoying a 2-0 success in their opener, both them and Northern Ireland sit at the top of the standings with two games to go.

Northern Ireland are back in action at 8pm on Wednesday when they take on Mexico at Coleraine Showgrounds.

Their tournament concludes on Friday with a game against Canada.
