David Vearncombe and Ed Copsey became the first West Ham United fans to get their hands on the new adidas 2014/15 home kit this week when they were presented with the tops at a special golf day at the world-famous Brabazon course at the Belfry.

David won the opportunity to receive the kit first as an auction prize at the Club's Player Awards dinner in May and enjoyed an unforgettable experience ahead of the new replica kits going on sale on Thursday.

The two fans played a round with former Hammer Bobby Gould, as well as being fitted for a custom-made set of Taylor Made clubs, courtesy of adidas, before being presented with their shirts on the 18th green.

David said: "The shirts look great - they're back to the retro style of the success we had when we were last with adidas. It was fantastic to have them presented by Bobby Gould too. We had a great round of golf with him and a fantastic day.

"It's magnificent to be the first fans to receive the shirt. It's great that the Academy benefits from the auction and for us to receive the prize is a privilege.

"It was an amazing experience to receive the clubs from Taylor Made too. We're both reasonable golfers so to be treated and made to feel so special on the day was a great prize.

"We thoroughly enjoyed the day - thank you to adidas and come on you Irons!

The new adidas home replica kit is now on sale from the Club's Stores at the Stadium, Liberty Romford and Lakeside Thurrock (click here for opening times) and online at www.officialwesthamstore.com
