Date set for Youth Cup clash

West Ham United U18s will travel to Accrington Stanley for their FA Youth Cup third round tie on Tuesday 10 December.

The game, which is to be played at Accrington's Storefirst Stadium, will kick-off at 7pm as Steve Potts' side look to take their impressive league form into the cup competition.

Accrington have already had to battle through two rounds to get to this stage of the competition.

In the first round they defeated fellow Football League outfit Carlisle United 3-1, before seeing off non-league Ilkeston Town by a solitary goal in Round Two.

This is the first time in Accrington's history that they have made the third round of the FA Youth Cup and they will go into the tie in good form, having not lost in their last five outings.

The Hammers made it to the fourth round last year, defeating Aldershot Town in Round Three before coming unstuck against Tottenham Hotspur.
