Morrison helps England to victory

Ravel Morrison won his third England Under-21 cap as the Young Lions swept Finland aside in Milton Keynes on Thursday night.

West Bromwich Albion forward Saido Berahino scored twice, following Michael Keane's opener, as England opened up a three-point lead at the top of Group One in qualifying for Euro 2015.

Morrison was on the pitch for 83 minutes and Gareth Southgate's side have now won four and drawn one of their five qualifiers to date, with another home fixture against San Marino to follow on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Raphael Spiegel was an unused substitute for Switzerland U21s as they triumphed 2-0 in Croatia.

The Swiss cut the gap to Group Five leaders Croatia to three points and have a game in hand.

Switzerland are due to play Ukraine in their next fixture on Monday.
