Guy Demel is eyeing Saturday's Boleyn Ground clash with Aston Villa as a chance for West Ham United to get back on track in E13.

So far this season, Sam Allardyce's men have been unable to live up to their awesome home form of last season, and are searching for their first success on their own turf since the opening day of the campaign.

But having secured two clean sheets on their travels in the last week, full-back Demel is certain the Hammers have what it takes to gain a positive result against Villa.

"It's nice to see the fans are right behind us and now we need a win at home," he admitted. "Last season we really strong at home so it would be nice to get back to that.

"We need to put some more points on the board and we're looking forward to playing in front of our home fans.

"We have a huge support and we want to start an unbeaten series at home now, It wasn't easy for other teams to come to the Boleyn Ground before and that is what we need again.

"We know we can do that, we just need to repeat the good performances and we will be able to get a result against Aston Villa."
